How We Work
Al Shene Marine Holding manages the supply chain and logistics from catch or farm to final delivery.
1. Buying in Scotland
Fish and shellfish are sourced in Scotland, from North Sea catch and Scottish farms.
2. Processing and packing
Cutting, packing and QC are done in our Scottish plant; blast freezing runs at Aberdeen Ports & Docks. Chilled product ships in iced EPS boxes (6/10/20 kg). Frozen product is individually quick frozen, vacuum-packed and cased in master cartons.
3. Cold storage
Cold stores hold frozen goods at −25°C and chilled goods at +2°C.
4. Shipping
Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow carry chilled cargo the same or next day. Fresh Scottish salmon by air to the GCC; temperature data logged throughout. A logger in the consignment records temperature on every flight.
